I was again honoured to be re-elected unopposed as Chairman of St Patrick's Arva G.F.C. for 2011.
We have a new Team Manager this year and I wish Padraig Mulligan from Colmcille the very best of
luck in his endeavours with our players. Our second team or Zodiacs as they were called brought
home the Junior D Championship Cup late in the year which lifted everyone's enthusiasm for the year ahead.
The great work being done over many years at underage level finally paid off and after many disappointments our Under 13 & 14 players brought home the Trophy's. We have some very talented players coming through and the credit for that goes to the people who give so selflessly of
their time to coach and train these young players over the years.
It was great to have 3 Cup's on show at our Annual General Meeting and hopefully we can life some
more this year. I want to sincerely thank those responsible for the continued updating of our Website – it is used
by many people throughout the county for fixtures, results etc. We hope that will continue in thecoming year and also hope everyone enjoys browsing our continually updated photograph's, local
news, match reports, etc.
