Div 3 Reserve Arva 3-11 Shannon Gaels 1-9Arva had Shannon Gaels as visitors to Michael Cully Park on Friday evening last for both Division 3 and Reserve Division 3 League games with mixed results. Arva easily won the Reserve game on a score of 3-11 to 1-9 with the Arva scores coming from Dean Harrington (1-2), Pat Mc Cabe (1-1), Shane Bouchier (1-0), Richard Keith (0-3), Niall Fox (0-2), Nicholas O’ Hara (0-1).
Pat Mc Cabe was in flying form and in the first movement down the field he rattled the crossbar but Dean Harrington sent the rebound to the net. Mc Cabe made no mistake in the 3 minute and blasted the net from 20 yards. The Gaels were always playing catch up from there on and when Shane Bouchier got the third goal for Arva midway through the second half the result was assured. Arva team – John Kiernan, Shane Mc Entee, Paul Brady, Bryan Mc Entee, Patrick Mulligan, Barry McHugh, Brian Fitzpatrick, Dessie Dobson, Padraig Mc Cabe, Niall Fox, Cian Sheridan, Richard Keith, Dean Harington.
