Div 3 Swanlinbar 4-14 Arva 1-3Arva were also visitors for the Division 3 League where the home side took the spoils on a score line of 4-14 to 1-3. Swanlinbar hit the ground running and had 5 scores on the board before Arva found the goal posts through a pointed free from Peter Morris after 18 minutes. This was followed by a goal from substitute Gavin Doyle on 20 minutes which was to be Arva’s final score of the opening half. Swanlinbar took complete control of the game from then on and scored a further 3-3 without reply before the half time whistle. Half time score 3-8 to 1-1 in favour of the host’s.
The second half started with a point for Swanlinbar after 5 minutes with Peter Morris replying for Arva with a free on 7 minutes. Swanlinbar then put the foot to the floor and scored 1-5 before Arva got on the score sheet again with a pointed free from Peter Morris on 31 minutes which closed out the action for the day.
