Experimental rules defeated. 177 votes for 100 votes against. Failed narrowly to get ⅔ majority.

Rule Book task force – under the chairmanship of Frank Murphy have met 90 times. One of the results of their deliberations in that there will be a new rule book published. It will be divided into seven chapters or sections and will be much more user friendly.

Gaelic 4 Girls

Cavan GAA in association with ladies Gaelic are running a 6 week Gaelic 4 Girls training seminar for girls aged 8-13 in the Tullacmongan Resource Centre. Start date is Monday 18th May and will run for 6 weeks. There will be an All Ireland Blitz held in June for these young girls. Fiona Murphy our Development Coach is Co-ordinating the Programme. This is one of four or five projects we will be running out of Tullacmongan this year.
